casa de la cacica
Kevin Terraciano at La Casa de la Cacica.

La Casa de la Cacica is a 16th-century Mixtec building complex in Teposcolula, Oaxaca, Mexico.  Its name means "House of the Cacica" which may be a reference to Doña Catalina de Peralta, who took possession of it in 1569.

Here is a gallery of images, mostly taken by Prof. Terraciano, showing the building during its current restoration project, and some older pictures of it before restoration began.
